Dr. Subrata K. Banerjea is pleased to announce the Thirteenth Summer School for 2012, which is now a part of the establishment.

Location:

The "Summer School" will take place in Great Baddow, close to Chelmsford in Essex. London is approximately 30 miles away, and the seaside 25 miles, both are accessible by train from Chelmsford.
 

Aims:

* TO DEVELOP YOUR MATERIA MEDICA. * TO GRASP THE MEDICINE PICTURE THROUGH A FEW KEY-EXPRESSIONS (e.g. retention for Nat.Mur; Anchor for Pulsatilla; Principle for Kali Carb; Unfulfilled for Tuberculinum) AND MIASMATICS OF MEDICINES (Rapid miasmatic diagnosis and remedy diagnosis through appearance, gesture, posture and behaviours) * TO COMPARE RELATED MEDICINES INSTANTLY * TO BE A CONFIDENT PRESCRIBER WITH TIME TESTED, CENTURY OLD SCIENTIFIC APPROACH OF COMBINING MIASMS, TOTALITY & ESSENCE WITH SOUND KNOWLEDGE IN MATERIA MEDICA; PRACTICAL REINFORCEMENT OF CLASSICAL HAHNEMANNIAN-KENTIAN APPROACH: CONSISTENT & REPEATEDLY VERIFIED, EVEN IN THE DRUG DEPENDENT CASES, SEE HOW IT WORKS!

By the end of this intensive programme, participants will have: A thorough comprehension of some of the subtle and finer points required in clinical practice; Confidence in their grasp of the essence of remedies including visual representation of Personality Profiles; Knowledge of the application of the Organon in Clinical practice; Confidence in Effective Case Taking and insight into specialist area.

Extensive lecture notes for all topics will be provided.
	The programme aims to close the gap between theory and practice and guarantees student’s the use of miasmatic knowledge and the confident use of Materia Medica and the Organon in everyday practice.   This is a programme suitable for U.K and overseas students and homoeopaths for an intensive exposure of Clinical Homoeopathy and Comparative Materia Medica.

Subjects:

(A) IDENTIFY YOUR POLYCHREST: In-depth anaylsis of practical and clinical Material Medica. Subrata will go through the Key Criterias, Spheres of Action, Weakest Links, Potencies of choice, related and chain of follow-up medicines and how to identify your Polychrests in drug dependent complex cases. Subrata will also demonstrate the Mixed Miasmatic coverage of each Polychrest and how this manifests itself in cases. (B) CLASSICAL PRESCRIBING in practice: Using video footage from Subrata’s Indian Medical Centres we will look at many gross pathologies and cases you don’t often see. Subrata will demonstrate what to look for in these cases using the simplest, time-tested, century old Classical approach of prescribing, this will encompass Miasm and Materia Medica (Subrata rarely opens a Repertory in his busy practice!). By extensive comparison of possible remedies in each case and their differentiations, you will learn the subtle nuances and differences to look out for and thereby enhance your own remedy selection. (C) LIVE CASE DISCUSSION AT ALLEN TEACHING CLINIC: An opportunity to observe live cases, together with discussion of medicine given, comparative material medica of related medicines, potency and repetition and Wait & Watch technique after the prescription (most of us make a good first prescription but spoil the case by too quick repetition or change of prescription!).

(D) WHEN THE WELL SELECTED REMEDY FAILS: Subrata will analyse possible reasons, how to identify the blocks in the case and the best case methodology to be adopted. (E) MAGICAL CURES: Case stories from Subrata’s 30 year long history of Classical Prescribing in India and the UK, especially cases where the prescription was simply on the basis of few key indications! A real understanding of Materia Medica and exposing the fallacies of just relying on Repertory!
