This course is intended for those students who would like to use homoeopathy on their friends and family only. These initial modules will enable the student to grasp the essential information of some first aid medicine and introduce the concepts of homoeopathic thinking and how to arrive at the remedy choice.
Academic year
October to June, every year.

Flexibility
This course is taught from the Allen College classroom in Chelmsford, Essex and also has the provision for video linked learning direct to anywhere you wish to learn, even in your own home. All you need for this option is a computer with internet access and a secure login that is provided to you on enrolment. Also, the course offers flexibility whereby you can choose whether you exclusively learn from home or alternate you teaching environment and meet other students at the Allen College for some or all of the modules.

Length
Option 1

The course is comprised of the entire first year modules, including remedies, how to apply the remedies and an introduction to the structure and function of the human body. These modules are taught at weekends. It totals approximately over 200 contact teaching hours and practical clinical training over the time frame of one year. These modules are timetabled at specific dates and times.

Option 2
This course is comprised of the remedies and how to apply the remedies. These modules are taught at weekends. It totals approximately over 100 contact teaching hours over the time frame of one year. These modules are timetabled at specific dates and times.

At completion of this course and sufficient attendance a certificate of attendance will be awarded.

Those who complete Option 1 have the opportunity of joining the 3 year part time course subsequently, which on completion enables you to practice as a professional Homoeopath, these short course modules will be taken into consideration; providing they join the full course within 2 years.
