“When I decided to start a course in homoeopathy I considered applying to the London colleges (largely because I had no knowledge of the existence of other colleges) however, as I enter my third year, I have no regrets whatsoever in choosing the Allen College in Chelmsford. We really benefit from studying in tutorial groups rather than huge lecture theatres and you can always ask questions as you go along which makes the subjects stick. We are also very privileged to be taught by Dr. Banerjea who has the advantage of having homoeopathy in his family for several generations and to have practised around the world. We are always interested in his cases in India and my tutorial group are keen to attend his course in Calcutta when we qualify. Attending clinics with real patients (not videos) is extremely valuable as homoeopathy really comes alive, it's not just something in the text books. I find that I can remember remedies better when I think of a patient I have seen in a clinic. Miasms were a complete mystery at the start but as we dissect each case miasmatically it all make sense now (well nearly!)." Sally Ann Weston, Kent Year (IIIrd Year); ACH.
